Louise O. Ford
Louise Overton Ford, 88, a longtime resident of Oxford, died Sunday, July 25th at Granville Medical Center.
A native of Granville County, the widow of William Dwight Ford and the daughter of the late David Cameron and Willie Royster Overton . She was the oldest charter member of New Horizons Baptist Church and retired from Granville County Board of Elections.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday, July 28th at New Horizon Baptist Church by Rev. Cam Ford. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.
Surviving are her son, W. David Ford of Oxford, two grandchildren, Amy F. Watts (Jimmy) and D. Cam Ford (Maria), all of Oxford and three great grandchildren, Cameron Ford and Justin and Jake Watts.
Omission of flowers are requested and memorials may be made to New Horizons Baptist Church Building Fund, 4523 Belltown Road, Oxford, NC 27565.
Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Wednesday prior to the service at New Horizon Baptist Church and at other times at 407 E. Spring Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
